Forest Resources Management (FRM, Inc.) is a professional forestry consulting firm providing forest management solutions to private and public landowners across eastern and central Virginia. Founded by Frank O. Brooks, Jr. in the mid 1980's, FRM has been assisting landowners with their forest management needs for over 40 years.

FRM’s primary objective is to provide high quality services within the client’s time frame and budget while maintaining a responsible ecological balance. FRM currently employs a staff of 4 foresters and an office manager. We offer a variety of forestry services including timber inventory and valuation, real estate appraisal, timber sales, thinning, reforestation, forest management planning, and much more. We also have expertise in timberland investment analysis and forest taxation issues.

FRM guarantees a high degree of professionalism, with no conflict of interest, in timber valuations or forest management recommendations. All staff members have appropriate licensing, certification and registration for their areas of expertise. Through participation in professional organizations and continuing education programs, FRM’s personnel provide up-to-date forest technology coupled with the flexibility and efficiency of a small firm.
